Brain Training / Educational Parental Consulting $97.00 – Colleen Bain, M.A. specializes in parental consulting in helping parents become aware of the options, tools and resources available to them using the power of brain training. During your 60 min. online consultation you will experience several AH HA moments and learn about the following:
- how to discover the underlying cause of your child's learning difficulties
- how to measure and assess your child's ability to learn and read
- how to develop an individualized plan to strengthen your child's ability to learn
- how to implement the plan and which tools to use
- how to coach, guide and support your child
- how to use new strategies for learning, retaining and recalling to help your child
- how to figure out and alter whatever is holding you and your child back or where you’re feeling stuck in your mindset
- how to automate and systematize your child's responsibilities, homework and projects to free up more time
- how to communicate with school and integrate strategies and tools easily
VIP Student Transformation System – The Student Transformation System allows you to identify your child's current level of cognitive learning skills and create an action plan to target and strengthen the weak skills. That's right—I do not ask you to focus on only the strong skills. We will specifically target the weak skills. Then we implement the 3 steps, plan and commit ourselves to success. Below is a listing of several tools that may be a part of your child's individualized program. All programs are research based with proven results. V.I.P. – Very Involved Parent!
I will personally hold your hand as we work together over the course of 12 weeks. You work in your home 3x-5x a week and we meet online 1x a week to review progress and discuss the bigger picture.
Step #1 – Train Your Child's Brain to become stronger and enhance the overall ability to learn. We will use various tools to help discover the underlying challenges and then strengthen any weaknesses that we discover.
- Online Cognitive Assessment – Within 40 minutes, you will have the answers to why your child is struggling or not performing with ease within school. This assessment is non-academic. It is not meant to diagnose a learning disability, rather, to help isolate the specific cognitive skills needed for learning academics.
- BrainWare Safari , or BrainSkills, PACE, Fast ForWord – The correct program(s) will be used to help your child strengthen any weak cognitive skills discovered through the online cognitive assessment and your child's medical/educational history.
Step #2 – Teach your child academics and skills that were once difficult. We are engaging your child's teacher/school (optional) at this point to ensure we are all on the same page
Step #3 – Transformation begins when your child is successful in areas that were once difficult. Your child is becoming more and more independent and performance in school is improving.
The exciting part is that this program is fun and engaging for you and your child and it takes only 90 days to begin your child's life-changing transformation.
Compared to learning centers who charge for programs starting at $10K and up, my online program is only $1700. My in-person program starts at only $5,000.
