Master the Code

Thank you for visiting our site.  Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE) can help children and students with Learning Disabilities (LD), ADHD, Asperger's (Autism), Dyslexia, any students who are advanced.  This site is designed to guide you through these two dynamic cognitive training programs: Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE) and Master the CodeTogether, these programs take the greatest research available and provide fun, effective and measurable results.

Why PACE?
The nationally recognized Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE®
) and Master the Code® intervention programs are designed to target and strengthen the weak cognitive skills that cause learning difficulties.  Enhanced Learning Skills for Kids provides 12-24 weeks of intensive one-on-one customized training based on years of clinical and scientific research. Its a simple plan towards addressing complex issues.

The programs have proven to be extremely helpful for students of all ages with learning disabilities, as well as with students who want to be more efficient, even those going for scholarships.  PACE is a EXCELLENT way to make a measurable impact on a large number of critical learning skills in as little as 12 weeks.  Sometimes we say, "play the game" because the activities are similar to games you would play with friends to challenge their skills.  It's fun, well-planned, and has everything needed in one organized system. Students and families love the success!

What Does PACE Do?
PACE develops underlying processing skills critical to learning, including auditory and visual processing, attention (selective and divided), processing speed, phonemic awareness, logic and reasoning, and memory, through fun, but intensive activities that are done one-to-one with students.  Read more About PACE and the PACE Method.  This program will help anyone improve.  The following is a sampling of what PACE will help to strengthen and properly develop:

  • paying attention

  • learning to read or spell (struggles to sound out words)

  • slow with math facts

  • does not complete assignments

  • memory

  • comprehending or understanding

  • working too hard for what is achieved

What are Cognitive Skills that PACE strengthens anyway?

Cognitive skills are the basic mental abilities we use everyday in our lives whether at school, work or enjoyment. They include a wide variety of mental processes  such as visual processing, auditory processing, sequential processing, long and short-term memory, logic and reasoning (ability to think, reason and plan), selective (focus on one thing while blocking out "noise") and divided attention (similar to multi-tasking), and processing speed (how fast the brain processes data). Cognitive skill strength and efficiency can be measured as an indicator of learning and academic strength.    Processing and Cognitive Enhancement (PACE®
) is the leading cognitive training program in the United States.  It has been proven that PACE training can effectively increase learning potential by strengthening weak cognitive skills.  See the Study Results.

Master the Code (MTC) - Reading & Spelling

Master the Code® (MTC) is the revolutionary reading & spelling program designed to build upon PACE.  PACE strengthens cognitive skills including auditory analysis skills.  Once the student has mastered the PACE Auditory skills, MTC is added to every training session to rebuild the student's reading system and put an end to poor reading habits.

Master the Code helps students develop an understanding of the code of the language, and bring reading and spelling skills to an automatic level.  The program develops phonemic awareness, visual awareness for words, and an understanding of the phonetic code of the language.
