A little boy went to a telephone booth which was at the cash counter of a store and dialed a number. The store-owner observed and listened to the conversation:

Boy: "Lady, Can you give me the job of cutting your lawn?

Woman: (at the other end of the phone line) "I already have someone to cut my lawn."

Boy: "Lady, I will cut your lawn for half the price than the person who cuts your lawn now."

Woman: I'm very satisfied with the person who is presently cutting my lawn.

Boy: (with more perseverance) "Lady, I'll even sweep the floor and the stairs of your house for free.

	Woman: No, thank you.

With a smile on his face, the little boy replaced the receiver.

The store-owner, who was listening to all this, walked over to the boy.

Store Owner: "Son… I like your attitude; I like that positive spirit and would like to offer you a job."

	Boy: "No thanks."

Store Owner: "But you were really pleading for one."

Boy: "No Sir, I was just checking my performance at the job I already have. I am the one who is working for that lady I was talking to!"

5 Ways to Overcome the Holidays, Even if Your Life is Hard

If you have had a tough time this year, due to job loss, illness, the financial crisis, or other heartbreak, you may be dreading the holiday season. These tips from the authors of Overcomers, Inc: True stories of hope, courage, and inspiration will help you cope:

Make taking care of your needs your number one priority this year. While it is good to care for others, in times of stress, it is easy to get overwhelmed by too much done on other’s behalf.

Get enough rest. If you are feeling sad or stressed, those feelings will intensify if you don’t get enough rest. Be sure you have enough time to recharge your batteries.

Create some new traditions. If this is the first year that you’ll face the holidays after the death of a loved one or post layoff, don’t pretend that life is the same and force yourself to do all the things you’ve always done. Keep the traditions that feel good to you but add at least one new thing that you will enjoy. New traditions bring more positive energy into the holiday season.

Ask for help. If you’ve always entertained 35 people with a full course dinner but just don’t feel up to it or can’t afford it, let your loved ones know. Suggest a pot luck meal, let another family member host the event this year, or have a movie nut with simple snacks. Match your energy level and your budget to what you can do, not what you’ve always done.

Reach out to others in need. No matter how awful you may feel your life is, there are folks in a more difficult situation. Sending an afternoon visiting a nursing home, volunteering in a food pantry, or sending a care package to a member of the military will lift your spirits and help you feel needed.

I as sat there and gazed across at Jesus, he began to ask me questions. "Why is it you feel at peace right now, here, with me?" he asked. I thought for a while about this question. Why is it I have no tightness in my chest, never worry, and just exist when I am in my garden with God? Hmmm? I am ready to respond. "Well" I say, "I do not have to worry about, my family's well-being, finances, or about being safe, in general. I know you I am safe and you are taking care of me." I thought that was a really good answer. Apparently it was not.

Jesus smiled compassionately and said, "You know I am with you all the time even outside our garden, right?" Ugh He got me there. "Yes," I reply back. He continues, "You know through your faith I work miracles, right?" Ugh I am feeling like a child being called on the "rules" of proper behavior. "Yes," I reply back. He asks, “Tell me what makes you doubt your faith to be as powerful a tool as you a creator?" Hmmm? I think for a moment, create myself a nice cup of tea and ponder the question for a bit, purposefully.

"I guess there is no reason for me to doubt my faith and I really did not think I was doing so." I then put my head down a bit and say, "I guess I was if I am allowing fear to take over, huh?" He says nothing and just smiles reassuringly like this is all good…."trust me."

"Is that what life comes down too?" I ask sheepishly. I continue on to say, "I mean is that all we really need to do is connect to you, acknowledge fear if it exists, move past the fear to feel good and make our decision?" He looks at me and says, "You tell me. This "process" you describe is really your innate soul "being" and creating while on Earth." "Ok, that sounds a little out there," I say.

"So how do get started?" I ask Him. "Baby steps," he replies as he turns to look at the baby animals in our Garden. "Baby steps all add up to big change one small change at a time." He says.

"You mean like use my faith on something small and know it will come to pass and then move on to another one?" I ask as I follow his lead to adorn the baby bunnies and deer playing in our garden.

"Well, faith is more than just believing. It is taking action that you believe you will be successful." He replies. "For example, when you do not have the funds available yet you step out in faith to purchase a needed item." He states. "Just as I always provide for the birds, yet they need to go and get their food." He continues. "I always make sure you will be taken care of so fear is not required"

"Of course," He continues "this does not mean you act without responsibility and accountability to make foolish decisions, either." "Like what?" I ask Him.

"Well, if the squirrels decided to never go and get their acorns for winter assuming they will always have it available, winter will come upon them and they will have nothing." He says. "The squirrel knows I am there to take care of it. It will take responsibility and accountability for himself and his family to get acorns at the right time store them and be well prepared for winter." He says as he looks back towards me. "Do you understand?" He asks.

"Yes. For a person it would be making sure they take responsibility for their actions, well-being and safety, leaving the bigger picture to God," I say. He replies, "In the bigger picture, you can state your intentions and know that you will receive the resources, safety and support you need." He adds, "As long as you are at peace and especially if you are passionate about the reason for your intent" "I know if you are or not and also know what is best for you in the long run."

I started to get a bit drowsy. I thanked Him and then decided to lie down beside Him and the animals to take a nap. I like many people must practice and be aware of our thoughts, actions and feelings throughout our day. That is a lot of worry don't you think? I guess if we look at this the other way, meaning, if we are at peace with this "process" then taking responsibility for our thoughts, feelings and emotions is doable and achievable. The outcome will only be more joy and peace for us.

I awake feeling very well rested and adjusted. My fears are a bit more under controlled and I know now that when I fear, it’s probably a good thing. When I fear, it is a matter of trust to understand if the action I am most wary about engaging in is something I really want in my life. Will it be of benefit to others? Will it take away from anyone? If the answers to these questions are appropriate then I must trust in Him to guide, support and provide me through the decision, action and implementation of my intentions.

I stand up and hug Him so tight I think I am crushing Him. He laughs with joy. I thank Him profusely and He knows I am good to go. In an instant, my cloud car is waiting for me. I hop in feeling "okay" and quite capable of pulling this "process" off daily. In a heartbeat, I am home and I ready to begin setting my baby intentions to continue building my faith.

I hope you enjoyed my article. Post a comment and let me know your thoughts.

I know what you are thinking! Colleen, you are one of the authors of the Overcomers, Inc. book just released this week. You cannot quit. You do not quit. Well, I am here to let you know that quitting can turn out to be a very good thing.

In fact, failure may just prove that you are being successful. When I began writing this story, I was so frustrated I decided to have a bit of a "chat" with God. For me, visualizing Jesus and loved one's that passed on is quite easy.

I have gotten a lot of practice with these visualizations and can literally "feel" while experiencing them. For example, I often escape to my version of heaven and can feel the green grass tickling along the bottom of my bare feet.

I can feel Jesus' hand touch my hand while we walk together and exchange our thoughts. I can feel the pressure of my mom's chest pressed against mine in our ever tight "hugs" when we see each other in the garden.

Most of the time, I feel as though I am watching a movie unfold and I'm one of the cast. However, when exchange of energy is present, than I am able to feel it pulsate through my body.

On this trip to my garden, I was prepared to tell God I'm done. In fact, this time in my visualization, I reached for the almighty white phone! You know how you always see the "red phone" as connected to the top authority figure, right?

Well, since I was dealing with heaven, my phone was white. I lifted up the receiver and sure enough, St. Peter answers. I say Hello St. Peter is that you? He replies, "Yes, Colleen. To what do I owe this wonderful blessing of hearing your voice today?"

I blush and return with "Let God know I quit." St. Peter replies with the usual heavenly rhetoric but I won't give in. I know its really not rhetorical banter but in my state of mind it sounds like it because I have decided to not listen. I requested the car come to pick me up immediately.

I could have just thought my way there but I really enjoy my cloud car. I hang the phone, walk to my front door, open the door and poof there is my cloud car. Now, I have been on this obsession with Jags lately, so I opt for a beautiful top of the line Jaguar.

Cherubs rush to open the door of my car as I move closer to it. I thank them, begrudgingly, as I am still very cranky. Once I sit inside my cloud car, I know a little piece of heaven has touched me. Aaaaah! I sigh loudly as if I just finished the longest, toughest triathalon on the planet.

I feel instantly rejuvinated and thankful for this time of rest. Within a heartbeat, we are at heaven's gates. I do not particularly like heaven's gates. I prefer the solitude of my garden. I guess since I made a special request I am to be enthralled with love and laughter at the gates.

If that does not work, the big guns are pulled in. So here we go. I am escorted through the gates with St. Peter at my side announcing my arrival. You would have thought Princess Diana just showed up. I am overwhelmed with love , acceptance and joy.

But wait, I will not fall for this anymore, I say to myself. I am tired and enough is enough. This will not work this time. St. Peter can sense my ego has taken over – way over. I am then presented with Jesus who is always my personal choice for comfort and represents "heaven" to me.

As I smile and cry just upon seeing Jesus, my tears seem to flow like raging rivers. Too much with too little room to flow. After a good cry and several hugs, Jesus removes my hands from my face and smiles. He shakes his head and begins to chuckle.

In a manner that speaks "My, my, my, Colleen. You never cease to amaze me." In a good way, though. Here I am thinking I totally let Him down again and messed up big time. Nope. Just the opposite. "But I don't understand?" I say to Him. "How can all my failures be seen as such triumphs to you?" Jesus begins to let out a hearty laugh like responding to a great joke! Hey? wait a minute, I think.

Is He laughing at me, now? Come on already! But no! He lovingly replies, "Colleen, you only need to BE." To which I reply, "Okay. So what does that mean? Not much of a blueprint for a successful life or business, is it?

I need a little more to go on here, please." In one breath, our heavenly gates are transformed into our special garden. Now that is more like it I say to myself. Jesus is laughing again. I am so glad I provide Him with great entertainment.

My eyes begin to take in the beautiful sights, sounds and smells of our garden. I look down and change my earthly clothes into more of a mother nature, Roman Goddess attire with no shoes. I begin to feel light hearted, laughing and giggling around the garden.

I run to our favorite place which is a beautiful river. We sit together on the river's edge, feet splashing in the water, laughing about nothing. Anything I choose to think about is instantly created for me. Of course, I have what looks to be a scene straight from Snow White shaping into form.

There's birds, deer, puppies, lions, tigers, bears (no oh my as they are all cuddly) and many more animals around us. I am at peace. Jesus looks at me as if to say .. hold that thought .. you just answered your own question. I look at him. "What?," I say. I think back over what I just thought to myself, "I am at peace." Jesus restates his earlier comment, "you just need to BE." "Oh," I say. So to "BE" means to be at peace?," I ask. "For some," He replies. "For others, to "BE" may mean different things but all good," He says. Jesus begins helping me understand why I am at peace with Him in our garden and how I can BE all the time. Stay tuned for part 2………

As a brain trainer, she transforms students into individuals who learn easily and efficiently. Visit http://www.els4kids.com to get your copy of her Free report, How to End Homework Meltdowns in 5 Simple Steps.

1. How did you get started writing? I got started writing when I was in college. I was considering taking psychology as my minor, so I took tons of classes. I was required to write about different case studies, providing observational insight supported with factual data. I absolutely loved doing this and it came very easily for me. After my undergrad, I pursued my Masters in Special Education, where the majority of courses required observational field work where I created my own case studies as I worked with different classrooms and student populations. I provided reflective and factual writing to support my research.

2. What do you do when you are not writing? When I am not writing, I am researching and collecting data through my work with my students and their families at Enhanced Learning Skills for Kids, LLC. I am also doing research and networking with my Opsoclonus Myoclonus Families (OMS) through the OMS Support Network. I try to spend as much time as possible with my husband, Tom, my son, Sean, and my daughter, Shannon. We also have two dogs, three cats, two gerbils and bunch of fish! Family is very important to me and my life’s work is centered around helping other families become empowered.

3. What would readers like to know about you? Readers may like to know that I was born in Brooklyn, NY and moved to farm country (at the time) when I was 13 years old. I love children and animals and my childhood dream was to have 5 or more children, live on a farm filled with animals, especially dogs. Dogs are my favorite animals as they bring such peace to my life. They remind me that my dream is still very much alive. I love connecting with other people and that's why my I love my business. My type of work is all about the relationship building between myself and families. I have not fulfilled my dream yet as my first born, Shannon was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma and Opsoclonus Myoclonus Syndrome (OMS). OMS causes injury to the individual’s brain causing cognitive and behavioral issues. This event was a life changing event for me and my family, especially Shannon. As I handed in my chapter to the editor with final revisions, my daughter Shannon was refused further treatment for her disorder. The reason and story behind this situation is the basis of my next book to be published at a later date. Anyway, we have been dealing with doctors across the country in hopes of finding help for her. My research for answers for Shannon has led me to many wonderful discoveries about the how the brain learns that are proving helpful to my students. We are hopeful that the right doctors and answers will find their way to us. My dream is still very much alive and it shared with everyone in my family. We look forward to the day we buy our first ranch.

4. What inspired you to be a contributing author in Overcomers, Inc.? I was inspired to be a contributing author in Overcomers, Inc. after being told several times by different professionals that I should write a book. I decided to “listen” and take action. Also, I believe the book will bring awareness to many about two important topics. One being OMS and the importance of the medical field to learn more about this to prevent misdiagnosing and brain injury. The second topic is help families recognize there is hope for helping their children progress and learn easily and efficiently. My business, Enhanced Learned Skills for Kids, LLC is proving this every day.

5. Why is the topic of Overcoming important to you? The topic of Overcoming is very important to me because I have learned how important our thoughts and beliefs are in our everyday success. If a person remains living in the “past” or stuck in hopelessness around a particular crisis, they will not believe they can move forward. They need help in understanding that Overcoming is possible and it’s a process. One that requires you to be still, remember to breathe, connect with your true self (prayer / meditate), listen and then take action. For another person going through a crisis and feeling frozen in fear, the topic of being able to overcome adversity and push through to the other side is extremely helpful to provide guidance, support, wisdom and motivation that anything is possible.

6. Why are you specially qualified to write about this topic? I am especially qualified to write about the topic of Overcoming because I have survived through a crisis not once but twice as my daughter has come out of remission from her OMS and I am Overcoming on my way to Champion.

7. How many books have you written? I have not written any other books to date of this nature. I have written a few other technical manuals that were used within Corporate America for Training Purposes.

8. How do you manage to keep yourself focused and on track when you’re writing a book? Writing a book for me can be a very spiritual experience. However, I tend to balance this with a process. When writing, I learned to do a brainstorming free write for the topic I will be writing. Next, I usually allow myself time to research for fact finding around the topic. Then, I give myself time to organize all the data that has been produced into a type of structured “big picture.” Lastly, I allow myself “x” amount of time to write/type about my subject per day. If I only allow 30 min. for the day, then I literally walk away at 30 minutes and do not return until the next day. Producing the content to fill the pages is the spiritual aspect. Once I have the facts down and a good amount of structure, I allow myself to be connected to my true self, to my spirit and ask for guidance. Sometimes, I can write pages and pages and pages in one sitting when I am “in the zone.”

9. Do you write to make money, for the love of writing or both? I write to spread awareness to help families become more empowered so they too can live their life on purpose with passion. I provide families with structure and goals to accomplish this through my business which coaches students and transforms individuals into independent learners. I have discovered that living on purpose with passion is very fulfilling and sometimes as an added bonus, one makes money, too. However, being realistic, I believe both go hand-in-hand.

10. What makes you proud about your involvement with Overcomers, Inc.? What makes me proud about my involvement with Overcomers, Inc. is that I am a part of many talented professionals. Being a part of this anthology is a very humbling experience for me. It also provides me an opportunity to spread awareness to families through my story and my business.

11. Will you write more books? Yes, I will be writing more books based on my continuing research around both OMS and how the brain learns.

12. What do you have in the works now? I have a few projects in the works now. Primarily, my web site was recently transitioned over to Word Press with a forum and other great functionality. This allows for families and professionals to research, discuss and create solutions. I have started giving talks as a professional speaker related to How the Brain Learns. I hope to keep doing this and connecting with many people in person.

13. What does the future hold for you and your books? The future holds great opportunity and success for me and my books. Through my books, I hope to help families understand about their choices in educating their children. I really hope to begin making an impression with our educational institutions. Our country is in great need for a shift in our educational paradigm. I hope to be a contributor in making this happen.

14. What makes this a book that other people MUST read and WHY? What makes this a book that other people MUST read is that the book provides hope, guidance, support, wisdom and proven techniques and strategies to get through the toughest challenges in life. People need to read this book to believe and understand that sometimes our greatest challenges turn out to be our greatest opportunities to grow and help others.

15. What people NEED to read this book and WHY? Everyone needs to read this book at least once because the book offers inspiration to anyone. Being inspired helps us feel loved, energized and secure. Feeling this way helps us get through any tough situation that may be on its way — why not be one step ahead of adversity and welcome it with grace.

16. What sparks your creativity? Any tips to help others spark their own creativity? What sparks my creativity is being met head on with problems. I am considered by many a brainstorming expert. I absolutely love to problem solve and am very resourceful. The process of brainstorming and problem solving sparks my creativity and uniqueness. I thoroughly enjoy coming up with a new, creative, unique solution to the problem. Some tips for others to spark their own creativity would be answer some questions about themselves. What is your topic that you are trying to be creative with? What do you like to do for fun? Is there a way to bring the two together? Sometimes, listening to motivational speakers will spark one’s creativity, too. Working with friends may also do the same. I have always found that taking time for yourself to become centered and focused always helps in the long run.

17. What do you think motivates people to become authors? What motivated you to get into this unusual industry? I think the desire to share messages of hope, laughter and desire motivates some people to become authors. Other people, I believe, are born to be authors and enjoy doing so with great passion. I was motivated to get into this unusual industry because of my own passion for writing and desire to spread my messages.

18. Tell me about the most unusual things you have done to promote any books? This will be my first promotion of my first book. I have a place on my blog (still being created) that is all about my chapter, etc. I also thought that car magnetic signs would be a unique way.

19. If a potential reader thinks that your book wouldn't interest them, what would you say to convince them to buy? I'm thinking something better than "Its the greatest book ever." Give me something more specific In today’s economic environment, I believe when most people state that they are not interested, they are saying they are really concerned about what they are willing to spend their money on – what is the value? I would ask them why they think the book will not interest them? I would try to draw out the customer through conversation and query to find a match and need for the book’s content. For example, if a mom was in front of me and said No thanks I don’t need your book. I would ask the mom to step back and rather think of the present situation – prepare herself for what may lie ahead or even better – think of several friends that could benefit from the book now.

20. What is your final message to our readers? My final message to the readers is that I believe everything happens for a reason and at the appropriate time. Readers led to our book are led for a reason and are ready for the wisdom, guidance and support within the book. The time is now to begin taking an interest in yourself. We have been raised to always be there for everyone else. I understand as a mom there are times to put your child before yourself. However, I can tell you from direct experience that if you do not take care of yourself than no one will benefit from your help. You are not rested, whole, centered, focused and powerful. This book provides everyone with an opportunity to begin taking the first step in focusing on “You.”

1. How did you get started writing? Writing has been a favorite activity of mine since I was 9 years old. I had a teacher who allowed me to write and write and write and often my stories would be pages long. This instilled in me an absolute love of writing – that this teacher gave me the freedom to express myself though the written word was truly blissful for my 9 year old mind. And it hasn’t stopped! I now write articles for magazines, I blog, write poems to my family, and I keep a journal, plus the chapter I have written for the upcoming book Overcomers Inc.

2. What do you do when you are not writing? When I’m not writing I run a Personal Development Coaching company that specializes in: • Raising women’s awareness of the strategies they need to create Unlimited Abundance In Money, Relationship & Health in their lives. • I help women attract what they want into their lives by showing them how to translate their intentions into actions. • I teach, guide, and support those who want to lead a joyous and prosperous life as they integrate the Law of Attraction with practical and spiritual techniques so they can connect with their own natural power resulting in a life they love with measurable results!

3. What would readers like to know about you? To answer this question, it's probably best that I share with you my "compelling story" that brought me to where I am today.

The defining moment in my life happened over a course of time but it was in 2004 that my life started to take a new turn and I had a feeling in my heart that there was something more to life.

I have always been a naturally optimistic person, always with a smile on my face with a way to take advantage and turn any situation into a positive one. My life always had an uncanny way of being a success and everything always fell into place, almost as if I was born with a magic wand in my hand. I seemed to be the person everyone turned to when they needed lifting up, a friendly ear or some good old fashioned advice. I was gifted with the mindset that everything in life happens for a reason and was always blessed with the understanding that there is a lesson or opportunity in every situation in life.

When my husband was struck with a bout of depression in the Summer of 2004, almost overnight my life turned upside down, and I was presented with a decision – to accept this as an opportunity or to turn my back to the lesson. Suddenly I was thrown into the responsibility of solely running the business we owned together and I embraced the opportunity head on.

I was so eager to get my teeth into something and find my purpose in life, the one that I felt like I was losing sight of. So I hired a business coach to help me with the business re-structuring and within 9 months had won a business award, put new systems and procedures in place and hired a team to accommodate the changes. In the meantime, over a 2.5 year period, my marriage was failing and once again I had a choice to make – to stay and live a life that no longer made me happy, or to take the biggest leap of faith and walk away from my 16 year marriage. It was then I realised that I was not fulfilled, that the way I was living my life was no longer enough, and I felt so sure there was more to life, that I finally plucked up the courage to listen to my Soul and walk away. The next awakening came when reality struck and I realised it was up to me to get my new life together. For 20 years I had relied on someone else to help make decisions, look after investments, be the main breadwinner. Now it was up to me. But I had no idea what I wanted to do. In fact for at least 6 months I had no clue! What I did know was that I wasn’t going to turn my hand to just anything, even though I was being offered jobs at every turn. Finally here was a chance for me to do exactly what I wanted. To do what I felt passionate about. To do what fulfilled my purpose. To discover what I was put on this planet to do. So I attended every workshop, and seminar, read every self-help book, watched every empowering session of Oprah I could and even travelled the globe in search of the answers. Through all my research and soul-searching I gratefully stumbled across Life Coaching and The Law of Attraction Training Centre in 2006, just after I read ‘The Secret.’ Finally here was something that truly inspired me. The day I signed up to do the training; I could hardly sleep with excitement! My years of teaching had taught me patience, understanding, meeting people’s needs and had fuelled my desire to help people. My years running the business had taught me the importance of systems and structures in a business for it to be successful, and building relationships. And my years of listening, supporting, and encouraging others was all going to be put to its ultimate purpose – to be a Coach inspiring people through transformational change. But I wouldn’t have found this path, without the heartache that happened along the way. I wouldn’t have realised my true calling if life had been easy or without struggle during that period of my life. 4. What inspired you to be a contributing author in Overcomers, Inc., I knew I had a story in me that needed to be shared. After what I had been through, I knew it was a gift that I had overcome it so gracefully and it could inspire people to realise that despite it all they can be the best they can be, drawing out the potential of who they are, enriching them to create lives they had only ever dreamed of. 5. Why is the topic of Overcoming important to you? I had begun to see the way my life operated and how I could overcome any obstacle or bend in the road that came my way and I knew I had something that could help others overcome their own life’s dramas. For years I have followed a very precise system as I learned to use the Natural Laws of the Universe to its full advantage. My ‘magic wand’ was being put to good use and suddenly I realised that I had a way of doing things, a way of existing that was very different from the people around me. I could and still can, manifest anything, including my wonderful partner, a gorgeous home, a loving relationship with my 2 beautiful children and an amicable friendship with my former husband not to mention a flow of abundance, a career I absolutely LOVE and the best health and fitness I’ve had in in my life. It’s proof we can overcome anything! 6. Why are you specially qualified to write about this topic? I literally love my life. And now I enthusiastically inspire others to do the same using the tools, techniques and methods I have learnt and applied in my own life. I have applied all the principles I consistently use in my life and have put it into a format that others can easily apply. With hand on heart I can honestly say I live a life that is truly wealthy and abundant and take great pleasure in walking the journey of encouraging others to do the same. 7. How many books have you written? This is my first venture into being a published book author, although I do write for a magazine as their contributing writer. 8. How do you manage to keep yourself focused and on track when you’re writing a book? I recently went to a talk about writing your book and he spoke about the important of diligence and focus. He writes a book in 50 days, 1000 words at a time. And each day he proofs those 100 words so that by the end of the 50 days, it’s already proofed. That makes great sense! 9. Do you write to make money, for the love of writing or both? I write because I have a message to share. It thrills me that others benefit from my written word. If I can touch just one heart and change one person’s life that day, then I have done what I set out to do. And getting paid for it is the icing on the cake! 10. What makes you proud about your involvement with Overcomers, Inc.? It is a great privilege to be associated with this book. Love You Life Publishing are so wonderful to work with and they have done an amazing job of involving all the authors’. It’s also a very satisfying result to have a book with your name in it! As a Coach and Motivational Speaker, it gives me a certain credibility which is another bonus. And connecting with the other like-minded souls has been a wonderful journey too. 11. Will you write more books? Absolutely! In fact I am in the process of compiling the notes of my journal over the past few years and will be making it into the story of how I went from surviving to thriving. 12. What do you have in the works now? Since my passage of self- discovery I've worked with scores of private clients, spoken and taught in front of groups, written articles, co-authored in a book about to be released called ‘Overcomers Inc,’ spoken on radio shows and am now in the process of creating ‘The Soul Wealth-ness System’™; a Home Study Guide involving 7 key steps for every woman who is feeling stuck or confused with their lives and knows that there is a way of tapping into the Power of her Soul, that there is something more to life, and she is ready to be enriched and enlightened to create a life she loves. The steps are designed to remind you what you intuitively already know in your life – that you are capable of manifesting greatness in your life. The Home Study Guide will transform the fear in your heart into clarity and confidence to take action, to reinvent the life of your desires, to live the life you love and start creating Wealth and Abundance with ease, joy and grace. 13. What does the future hold for you and your books? I’d like to see the books I go on to write to be a platform for my career, in that they will help many people all over the globe and give them hope, uplift them and give them a path to journey down. 14. What sparks your creativity? Any tips to help others spark their own creativity? Keeping a journal is a great way to tap into the creative spirit that lives inside you. Sometimes you can write the most profound things if you would just sit down and allow yourself the time to write. So many people don’t allow themselves that time, but if you only would, you might be quite surprised what’s inside you. 17. What do you think motivates people to become authors? What motivated you to get into this unusual industry? We all have a story to tell. Usually there has been a mistake or an upheaval in your life and you have learnt from it. It’s that learning that is invaluable to write about. To think that your story could be someone else’s, and to know that you may help that person by sharing your learning’s, is a great achievement. 18.
