Enhanced Learning Skills for Kids, LLC uses several types of braining training programs to help transform students into independent learners. The Student Transformation System trains the brain to learn more effectively and efficiently.
So what does that mean, exactly?
When I work with students, I train certain skills and will keep increasing the level of difficulty. As my student’s become successful and pass levels of exercises, they are strengthening the underlying mental skills needed to learn efficiently.
Similar to when athletes learn a skill within their field of expertise or when you work out with a trainer at the gym. Their main goal is to help you reach your potential so you can perform more efficiently and effectively.
The difference between brain training and the gym or athletics is that our brains won’t regress once we’ve strengthened them. Where our muscles will experience atrophy, our brains neuropathways will not. That is great news!
Our brains have the ability to be reorganized and allow for new neural pathways to develop alongside presently blocked pathways.
Brain training also works wonders for students that have learning differences. Students are also able to strengthen their ability to learn so they are able to remember, process, recall, study, do homework and understand concepts easier and more efficiently.
The same holds true for children that are classified within their school district or are a bit slower than their peers but managing to do well academically. You should not be surprised to hear that gifted students with or without learning differences also benefit from brain training.
